We are Zack and Meredith Ford. Together, we are the owners of Ford Family Kennels in Locust Fork, Alabama. Our family has always had a love and respect for all animals, and we know the joy that comes from having them in our home! While we love all animals, the Doodle breeds have captured our hearts in a way we never expected! When we purchased our first Goldendoodle, we had no idea we would find ourselves where we are today. However, as most doodle owners know, this breed has a way of winning over your heart! What started out as simply adding a family pet, turned into a love of the breed that lead to a fulfilling and life-changing enterprise. What started for us as the search for the perfect dog turned into an exciting journey into the world of breeding Goldendoodles, Aussiedoodles, Labradoodles, and Poodles.
While searching for the perfect Goldendoodle for our family, we met the gentleman who has now become our Partner and mentor, Mr. Ja Hambree. Mr. Hambree, who is an experienced breeder of over 25 years, ended our search when we were introduced to the most adorable puppy we had ever seen.
While we didn’t have much experience with doodles at the time, we quickly fell in love with our new Goldendoodle addition. So began our adventure into the world of doodles and breeding. As most doodle owners could tell you, it’s easy to fall head over heels for this breed, and we certainly did. As our new doodle grew, we stayed in touch with Mr. Hambree, and as conversations continued, we began a great partnership.
After purchasing our first Goldendoodle several years ago, our love for doodles has grown into a thriving business in which we are dedicated to providing our clients with a healthy and happy puppy. Our doodles are purposely bred with a pedigree dedicated to breeding a healthy legacy within our kennels. We strive to match every puppy with the perfect owner and do our best to support our clients long after taking their new puppy home.
Our main priority is ensuring the health and well-being of all our animals from birth until they leave with their forever family - and beyond.

The “Ford Kennels Training Program” allows clients to rest assured that the new addition to your family will go home with all the training and tools they need to be the healthy, happy, and loyal companion they have been searching for.
We put a great deal of time and effort into our selective breeding program. We ensure that only dogs with sound temperament and excellent health are introduced into our program. Any dogs found to have genetic defects will not be accepted into our program.
Our selective breeding program is in place so that you can rest assured that when you purchase a puppy from Ford Family Kennels, you are receiving a quality doodle that has been carefully bred to provide you with a puppy that is as healthy and happy!
